I don't know if this frame is original. This photo makes the sign look pretty rough. The background of the Coke emblem is actually cream color like faded yellow. I have had the sign for 20 years, so it is at least that old. Any info??

I can only tell you the frame isn't original. Coke would've never chopped part of their beautiful arciform logo like that. The arciform logo was produced beginning in 1958 but mostly used from 1960 to 63'.
Thanks, there are a few holes in the metal. Should I remove the wooden frame?
I would but be careful, there may be rust all around the green frame. Top value for this menuboard is $200 but yours has some damage so not worth a whole lot either way. Go ahead and remove the wood, you have nothing to lose really. I'm guessing you find what they were trying to hide behind the wood frame.
