Here is a Vintage Police Car Hood Light, around 1950's. The light is made from cast metal, can see police lighted in red from both sides of the light. 13"x4" triangle shape as viewed from the side. The light was mounted on the hood of the old police cars (in some cities) and you would be able to see "POLICE" from both sides of the street. I'm not that old and don't remember these, but that's what I was told. If anyone knows more please let me know.
