I believe this is old and hand painted as with mag. glass or with good eyes you can see real gold or shiny gold on flags and some ropes of ships, Also look at fourth photo, I pulled this off England sale of "beautiful color Lithograph" It is not so beautiful as my framed print, also my frame looks very old and back of frame has green beautiful old paper and in corner it says Florence Italy. Famous Eng. Versus France sailing ship battle, I also read the French school around this time were experimenting with wood block prints as Japan artist visited in early 1800's. Ukiyo-e , Japonism was extremely popular, Monet and Van Gogh did Japanese scenes, (See Japonism Wikipedia), to see amazing Japan works by these and also Tissot, and Whistler. Mine is 11" X 4 1/2". I only mention this as it resembles wood block print I was told by some friends of mine. I want to mention again the English print that was sold is very poor color quality as you can tell by looking! Also there is no writing on the bottom of the print sold in England toracat
