I've made 2 banjo's & can't play one. I thought they were all 5 string until I started looking for somebody who knew how to play my latest. I live in French & dutch territory & soon learned that europeans don't play the 5 string but the 4 string and they strum more than pick. After 2 yrs, I'm still trying to find somebody to play mine & tell me if it has good tone.
Yours appears to be a 4 string so probably european. I don't see a 5th string key. By the way, they are tuned entirely differently. I'm not a musician but just like to make things. Bon chance.
eye4, what the hell does that have to do with ID'ing banjo's. You r mixing apples & oranges. U r my sworn antagonist obviously. I'm just trying to help some bloke ID a blud'clot banjo.
eye4, the site wasn't high-lited so no I didn't. Sorry if you meant well but U have harrassed me before U know.
I'll search for the site now.
Sorry eye4 but I saw nothing there that had anything to do with banjo's. Everything seemed electronic. I'm a traditionalist & nothing I make as a hobby has a plug on it. Guitars & banjo's is like learning a foreign language to change.
Sorry if I reacted wrongly as I was judging by past encounters.
I'll take some pics of my banjo (which I can't play) & post them.
Sorry Syn--, didn't mean to disrupt your post with what is an obvious personality conflict.
