This is a pretty large vase. I don't know if it is an art pottery piece or Asian. It is a very light feeling piece relative to its size. It is unmarked but has been drilled for a lamp and the mark may have been drilled out. The decoration is exuberant and the gold accents are raised. Can you help me identify this style/maker?

i believe that this vase is a Japanese Satsuma style vase. it's not my area of expertise, but there are many experts in Satsuma here on CW. beautiful colors!
Your vase is possibly a Japanese Moriage vase and if you Google Moriage it will come up with all sorts of examples....:-)
Very pretty!
