purchased in august 1967 from currys store in corporation street -birmingham city centre-cost £40. it was not all that popular, despite having superb sound quality compared to the philips cassette recorder as it took a different size cassette, larger than the more popular philips cassette with pre-recorded music on, it was replaced in 1969 to match the philips size cassettes, the tapes i found also broke easy and had to be taken back to the shop for repair.
