Would any one have information on this what i think is a very old buffet.
The only information is stenciled numbers on the back.
No real maker on this item, only stenciled numbers on the back.
Any help identifying the maker and date would be great.
Thank you for any help.

Forgot to mention the bottom drawer is one big drawer not two as it looks.
It is really nice. Guessing 1940s??? Great size, lovely wood.
any idea of the style or wood?
30's to 40's there were quite a few good furniture companies putting out furniture like this that were geared for styles for complete rooms. I have one good book on Baker furniture and imagine there are more. A lot of this style of furniture was also sold in the catalogs during those years. Beautiful !~Phil.
Thank you ....so would this be Baker furniture ?
Not necessarily Baker, but if it was you'd have a real gem. Regardless, it is known as "Depression-era" furniture (although the style actually runs from the 1910s to the 1940s).
