Have had this little Ruby Opalescent Vaseline Hobnail VASE for a long time and never was able to find out anything about it. Usually Hobnail items are made by U.S. Glass makers like Hobbs or Fenton etc.. but this little vase is not by them. It could be European or British but nothing similar in all the sites I've looked at. It measures 3 3/8" tall with a 2 1/2" opening and a 1 3/4" scalloped flat base with lots of wear. The hobnails are on the bulbous body and the tapered neck has ribbing. The hobnail area is made in a 3-piece mold but there are no mold marks on the base or the Ruby Opalescent neck. Any Ideas on age, maker or have you come across something similar? Thanks everyone, RER (LOUMANAL)

Delightful!! : )
Thanks miKKOChristmas11! I never knew it had a Vaseline base until Mrvaselineglass man in the eBay discussion sites pointed it out to me a few years ago. He suggested that it could be of English origin but he wasn't sure. RER (LOUMANAL
