Found in a barn in the San Fernando Valley, California in the 1960s.
I assume it is an oil lamp base. Would love if someone can give me any information about it. The glass is milky opaque with painted decor, green color. The bottom of the brass cradle has the number 309 and also what looks like P&7 stamped on it. Approx. 14" across.
Thanks for any help!
