    I think these are English pedestal salts, circa. 1790. They have square press moulded pedestal feet. Shallow cut panels and notches on the bowl and scalloped edges.
    The shallow cutting implies that it is earlier rather than later.
    I have had these a long time and I think I bought them as Newark Antiques Fair. I probably didn't pay that much, particularly the inside of the bowls are suffering with the ravages of being used to hold salt for a long time.
