Rare naval stein of Reservist Schoenberg, who served aboard the Naval tender ship the "SMS Drache" (Dragon) from her first year of service in 1908 until 1911. This ship continued her service through WWI, the interim years between the first war and the second, as well as serving through WWII. It was involved in the bombardment of Poland at the beginning of the second world war, finally being sunk by Soviet aircraft in April 1945 while evacuating German soldiers and refugees from East Prussia.
