I have a Singer sewing machine that came out in 1886. I would like to know what is the value of it. I found it while cleaning out my attic.

The model is called an Improved Family or IF. You could find value for similar machines near you by searching on eBay. It's really not possible to give values here, the value varies in different places, and depends a lot on the condition and completeness of the machine, cabinet, if there are accessories such as spare bobbins and feet, working order, etc etc. I bought one a few months ago, a treadle with cover, in about the same condition as the one in the picture, for $75.
