As a child, I loved looking at the old Victorian-era Valentines belonging to my grandmother and great-aunt. Someday I'll bet my grandkids will have as much fascination and pleasure looking at the Valentine cards from my youth. A couple of years back I started a simple scrapbook hobby of collecting the nice seasonal cards I've received over the past decades and organizing them into an easily viewable form.

your very welcome dusting and welcome to cw:)
What a precious memory, I cannot help but be amazed at your collection here. I never kept a scrapbook of my valentine cards esp grade 4,5,6, 7 & 8. Now that is one to think over. "most of us were so anxious to grow up we never knew the golden time of childhood", bless you for this post !~
Thank you for the nice comment, PhilDavidAlexanderMorris! I'm one of those people that finds it hard to part with anything!
Some school systems now in the US have now banned the passing of Valentines cards in schools, and even in-class birthday parties. How crazy is that - they are just teaching hate now, instead of Love.
