I am a collector by nature but have limited space so don't let things get too out of hand. I collect what appeals to me, be it modern day stamps or things that remind me of my childhood home which was something of a down-at-the-heels living museum. As a child, I started to collect travel postcards back in the 1960s. When I look at those today, I wish I'd had a better sensibility on some of the things I chose from the rack.
