On the tray is a salt and pepper shaker don't know if the item in the middle is for sugar. Would anyone have additional information on this? Year etc.

    gotheborg marks identifies this as possibly of the Hotta Yu Shoten & Co. - They seem to have gone out of business in 1947. This mark likely to be from the 1920-30s. - The brown parts look like lustreware.

    Would you know if the item in the middle with the spoon is for sugar?

    It's a condiment set so I would assume the center one is a mustard pot. I don't think that is the correct spoon as other similar items the spoon would probably be finished in the brown color lustreware. The white spoon looks "out of place" for the set. If you google image "japan lustreware salt & pepper" you will see similar items although I did not see the exact same as yours.

    sorry I pit the spoon in the wrong direction ...it is painted blue on the other side like the rest of the set
