6 Knoll chairs that were part of the original decor of a local bank building in the 1950s. The chairs were purchased in the 1970s when the bank remodeled. I believe the chairs were reupholstered and restored in the 80s... but for the price I paid, it was a steal! A custom made conference table came with these chairs and even though it is not Knoll, it is very neat as well.

Sweet pick! Redoing them?
The woman I purchased the chairs from told me she'd had them reupholstered, but with fabric very close to the original. I'm not sure they were this color originally. These chairs are from the 1950s, and although this color could have very well been possible, it definitely isn't a color that comes to mind when I think of popular 19050s modern design.
