Beautiful Back Chairs

I believe these three chairs belonged to my grandparents. If so, they are early 20th century, might have come over from Scotland with them to Canada, or if the other set of grandparents, might have been made in Ontario. I can't find anything like them online. They are quite delicate and the design on the backs is beautiful -- would it be a rising sun, or a flower? They are either oak or maple, I think. They have caned bottoms that need repair as you can see.
Anything anyone could tell me about them would be much appreciated -- style, probable age, etc. I am very curious about their origin and who might have made them.
