This sure looks like a "spittoon" or "cuspidor" to me, but it's probably just a planter. It's 8" in dia. and 6" tall. A little something I found late in the day. My first piece of Ungemach pottery.

This is from a site called " More than McCoy"

Ungemach Pottery Co., Roseville, Ohio. Founder: Fred Ungemach, formerly of Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. and McCoy Pottery Co., started UPCO in 1937-1984. Fortunately, most UPCO pots and vases are marked and numbered very clearly. UPCO pottery is usually very solid, well-made practical pottery, and resembles McCoy pottery.
