2 Gallon Peoples Penn Motor Oil Can.

I recently found this oil can under a property that was built in the early 1940's. The only bit of info that I have found is that this company was opened for a short time and in business around 1904. It was owned by Standard Oil, and a anti trust court case was opened by the Federal Government concerning this and several other company's. This company was mentioned in a possible "price fixing" situation. I have never seen one of these, nor can I find ANY info on it. Any help or information would be greatly appreciated.
