    Don't know how old this is. It is in excellent condition and looks great and right out of the 5o's.

      At least those ones KEPT on working for a long long time. I still have an old one in my bathroom right now.

      Glass bubble scales as they were known came out right around 1950-51 I think. Many were made by Health-O-Meter. There is still a set like this in my mom's house and they still work.

      These were nice because of the calibration knob you see in the slot on the top. If you had old plank floors you could adjust them. I remember telling my mother if she stepped on it the scale would say "One at a time please". She chased me away for some reason.
