May name is Lenny (or Len) and I am a software engineer by profession, but while in high school I started a small collection of mostly 35 mm cameras from 1930's to about the 1950's. For many years my collection has been stored away in containers. Recently I started to become interested again, and have purchased a few classic items from ebay. Examples being the Minox model B and C cameras, and of course a Nikon Ftn which I had wanted to see as part. My collection is 40 years old now and I would like to learn more about it, add items to it, and potentially find a venue where it can be displayed and enjoyed by a younger generation. In this age of digital iPhone photography I have noticed that young people under 20 do not know about the era of Photography from the 1920's leading up to it's digital transition - starting in the 1990's.
At some point I will start to show and tell my items and look forward to seeing show tell of other photographic items on this site. (Read more)
