I was a serious collector of Coke memorabilia starting back in the mid-1970's, but sold the majority of my substantial collection in the late 1980's. Looking back, I was a serious collector of Coke memorabilia starting back in the mid-1970's, but sold the majority of my substantial collection in the late 1980's. Looking back, I'm glad that I kept some of my favorite pieces, which amount to enough to decorate a good sized room. The Coke stuff was joined by Coors Beer advertising starting in the late 70's, and I now have a serious collection of that brand (but am always looking for good, early, rare pieces). I still pick up an occasional Coke item now and then when I find what I consider a good deal. I purchased a 1948 Pam thermometer today and recently bought an Icicles festoon. I guess that it will always be in my heart. I also collect items from Tulsa, OK. (Read more)
