Someone from England has said she was made in the 30s or 40s when materials were in short supply. I'm not totally convinced - any view on this ?
I am located in England. I had a good look everywhere with a flashlight (sorry , we say torch here!) and there are no marks. Her neck is quite short and sits in a shallow well attached by a metal hook...
I assume you meant Lot 7083 ? I saw this doll earlier , mine has a much paler complexion .
Thankyou Manikin - her head is very light weight and yes is open at the top . I will look inside with a torch and see if I can see any marks lower down :)

thanks- I will try and post some more pics tomorrow.
these are probably glove stretchers- used for kid-gloves as they shrunk when wet
Irish Lead Crystal ?
This looks like Carnival Glass - given as prizes at fair-grounds. I love it and have a bowl . It tends to go up and down as far as collectability (in the uk )- but at the moment its popular I think
