Can someone help me to work out what this is and how much importance it has? I found this today at my work and don't know much about it other than it is from Germany and from what I can gather.. Berlin, it is from 1926 and is from a company named national. I don't know much more about it. Thanks to anyone that gets back to me.

I just sold one very similar a few weeks ago. Yours appears to be slightly older, and a German/European model instead of an American model. The differences were very slight. The NCR Corporation was one of the largest cash register companies in the world for decades and started in 1884. NCR Corporation still operates today and made ATMs in the '70s and '80s in the US.

Neat item you have here, but it's definitely not in "good" shape by any means. Cool find though!
