    Tortoise Shell shakers are made up of opal and a brown glass added to clear glass to create a tortoise shell effect in various random or organized patterns. These shakers can also be decorated.
    Im aware of this type of glass being produced by Hobbs as well as Phoenix but perhaps others too.
