Great find, although I can not be positive that the artwork is period. Helmet and helmet cover, and helmet liner ARE period and correct and dated. The artwork shows some age but is it 45 years old.....I can't tell. But none the less, it is pretty cool and looks great on display.
This helmet is in honor of my cousin Earnest "BUSTER" Aleshire who did two tours in Vietnam with the Marine Corps, and just resently passed away.....Semper Fi, Buster....
