Schumann Vintage Compote

I have collected Schumann porcelain for some time and want to share some of my pieces with you.

The Schumann Company has a long tradition of producing good quality pieces. It was relatively easy here in Canada to find them for a reasonable price. Recently, however, it has become a bit more challenging to find a bargain.

The Schumann Company closed their door forever in 1994, making most items you will find almost instantly vintage.

This is the second of two compotes I acquired a few years ago. One I bought in an antique store in Niagara Falls, Ontario, and the second one I bought in an action. Both pieces are in excellent shape. The compote listed her dates to approximately mid-last century.
