SIKES Chair Restoration Project (Needs Tilt-Control Mechanism)

Looking to complete restoration project of SIKES chair purchased via-ebay. This oak chair is solid and a lovely complement to my oak roll-top desk, however the "tilt function" is ineffective on this 70+ year item. I am seeking a supplier of "older" restoration components and would appreciate any input, feedback, etc. that can be offered.

Not seeking value appraisal, merely looking for suggestions where such components can be sourced. Love this chair and want to avoid adding "modern" hardware to complete this restoration.
