    The person I bought this from on Craigslist didn't know anything. It's not marked that I've found. I know it's old. It has square nuts holding the base on. The base isn't springs it's an odd hinged metal strap almost that attached the chair to the base. I can see on the bottom the springs are covered with burlap which is an old method. I'm going to reupholster it but what's on it isn't original I don't believe. It's kind of a velour type material. Anyone know anything about it??

      I have a rocker just like it, except mine is covered in a brown velour.

      correction: mine does have springs at the base, though.
