    PATTERN NAME: TWISTED OPTIC. 

    This pattern is very similar to the Spiral pattern made by Hocking Glass Company, 1928-1930.

    It can be found on pages 188-189 in The Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression (Revised Tenth Edition) Glass By Gene Florence "America's #1 Best Selling Glass Book!"

    TWISTED OPTIC -  Spirals counterclockwise to the right.
    SPIRAL By Hocking - Spirals clockwise to the left.

    ALIAS NAMES: IMPERIAL 313 LINE
    CATAGORY: DEPRESSION
    MANUFACTURER: IMPERIAL GLASS COMPANY
    YEARS MADE: 1927 - 1930
    PRIMARY COLORS: Canary Yellow, Green, Pink
    OTHER COLORS: Amber, Blue, Iridescent crystal, Ruby
    Pattern consists of a cup and saucer, a creamer and sugar, numerous sizes of bowls, plates and covered candy jars, 2 sizes of candlesticks, a basket, a compote, a mayonnaise, a pitcher, an oval platter, a covered powder jar, a covered preserve, 3 styles of sandwich servers, a sherbet, 2 sizes of tumblers and 5 styles of vases.

      Hi! The pattern name is "Spiral" and it was made by Federal Glass in the mid 1920's. This pattern is very similar to the spiral patterns made by Hocking and Westmoreland. Imperial "Twisted Optic" lunch plates swirl in the opposite direction and are footed.
