Picked this doll up from a charity shop. She is from Uganda and according to the hand written tag that is on her base she is from 1970. She has a strange construction, her body is made of either reeds or a straw type natural material and her head and sholders are carved soap stone. I would like to know if the 1970's date is about correct.
