    I bought 2 Kokeshi dolls at an estate sale in 2013. I believe they were created around WWII. The female doll has a shield with a boy&girl toddler painted on it. The male doll has a samurai painted on it. They both are in excellent condition. I'm trying to figure out the time period they were created and the Japanese writing on them.
