I found this doll in an old Trunk that was in a garage attic. She's made out of cloth. Funky makeup!

Boudoir dolls were made by a number of firms whose wares were unmarked. Yours does not seem to have legs does she ? These are novelty dolls or also referred to as Bed Dolls as they would sit on a bed to decorate it . Yors face appears to be less Deco than most Boudior dolls . She appears to maybe be a mask face that was bought and the dolls body homemade . Very nice .

Correct - she has no legs! She has a hand sewn loop at the top of her hat so it makes sense that it was probably hung on the bedpost at night I'm guessing. I just think her makeup is so funny! Thanks for your educational input.

The heavy make up was common for these doll faces :-) Is bottom of her dress sewn shut ?

Heavy purple eye shadow was common for me too in the 90's - lol.
Yes - the dress is sewn at the bottom - theres an opening in the back though.
      Thanks for your input.

Hi sorry I forgot to mark this to let me know if yuo replied . You have a a doll purse or Pajama doll. I thought about it and decided to check if sewn shut ! She is much more special . The child would put their pj's in it and hang on bed . Very nice !

She is about 23" - And I do see how she would be for PJ's! It's a little bag.
