The cover is leather with a design in raised leather and gold leaf. The edges of each page are gold leaf. The fastener looks like steel or even silver. Outside condition is very good. Inside are many photos and photo cards dating from 1890 up to 1908 in very good condition. No damp or black spots on any pages. Edinburgh is mentioned on photos back. USA is mentioned on a few photos too. Now in Oxford.... Interesting.
