      I think it's a scabbard for a knife instead of a bayonet. The clip would fit more places than a belt loop - like tucked inside the top of a boot. Might be German. I'm going out on a limb here.

      Thanks, I love researching stuff, and I have to know enough about the WWII stuff to figure out what isn't WWI. Pricing stuff isn't what I'm good at, but I think you don't have anything "Ultra Rare." but you do have several hundred of dollars worth of stuff here if you sell it separately, and it would definitely be worth your time.
