    This is a 1950's roll of Labelon "Write On It" adhesive tape in it's yellow plastic dispenser made by the Labelon Tape Company, Rochester, NY
    The adhesive tape is red and the plastic top-coat could be removed so it could be written on with any pencil or indelible ink pen or marker. The plastic dispenser was originally patented in 1936 and the patent# 23129
    - - - - - - - - - - - - was re-issued in 1949. - Tape no longer dispenses due to age of adhesive.
