Vintage china lamp base. Very old wiring.

I am thinking this pretty little base is English as it was stored with family items. I have tried to find something similar but his a brick wall at the moment. The UK changed from 2 to 3 wires many moons ago and this lamp has the wires bound by fabric. I have really tried but cannot get a pointer at age.

Any ideas?

Completley of track but whoohoo!!! I have just found out my first Granchild will be arriving early November. So excited!!!! A new little novice collector in the making. p.s Please excuse that little outburst.xxx
