What happened to the original certificate of authenticity?
I had a break in and my passport and important papers including this one were stolen. :( Angel passed away so I cannot get a new one. But Kay at Kay's Antiques on Orcas Island, WA can verify its authenticity and story. I purchased it from her in 1998. I am looking for a new home for him.
How unfortunate. The burglar must be dumb, or you're lucky, to overlook this "treasure" and took your important documents instead. Pardon me but I am wary of such certificate of authenticity which can be easily forged. Understanding the history of Sui dynasty to Five dynasties will pose plenty of doubts on the authenticity of this piece instead of some paper.
