Your Accutron was manufactured in 1969. Look on the back of the watch. The m9 is a date stamp. M9=1969. Complete Price guide to Watches lists most of that era's Accutron's at around $250.00 to $350.00. A low estimate in my opinion. Do a ebay search for a 1969 Accutron to see what they are actually selling for. If the watch is still running I would take it to a watchmaker. Probably needs a new battery and some adjusting. Well worth the price of that to keep a historical watch running.

Bulova made several series of Accutron. The most appreciated are the "214" series that can be easily identified by the C-lift on the back for setting, and the coin-slot battery hatch on the back. They do not function as truly water-proof, although the earliest models were so marked. As with any electronics of the mid-20th century, problems may arise. They were certainly among the most accurate timepieces of their era, but not as durable or reliable as some other Bulova models.

As for "solid" gold, we assume you mean both bezel and back are plated. The base structure isn't gold, as that would not be the strongest material for a reliable watch body.
