This is a large 38" brass charger plage with an embossed image of a woman that resembles Elizabeth Bathory, a 16th century Hungarian royal aka "The Blood Countess." The charger plate also has a devil's face at the top of the border and his curling moustache is incorporated into the border design. A portrait of Bathory is pictured for comparison.
