This teapot was purchased from an antique shop over 40 years ago, was told it was used as a dispenser for liquor during the 1760's era. It is most unique, not having a removable lid, but you pour the liquor into the bottom hole and when you pour from the spout only one shot at a time comes out. It does not need a cork in the bottom, it has a separate chamber inside to hold the liquid!
