I found this lovely male doll in a handmade suit. He is crazed on his head, hands, and legs. The suit is very old and some of the thread is deteriorating. He has a solid heavy cloth body. His hands are shaped a little funny too. There are no markings. Any one know anything about him? Cannot find a thing on the internet.
Need a close up of face. It was either repainted composition and someone put a heavy coat of glaze varnish on it or it is homemade China doll a reproduction. Painting from what I can see and glaze do not go together . Always easier to ID doll nude as body construction helps to see . I will await a close up of face ok
My photographer friend has the closeups with many details. When he gets them sent to me I will post them. It is Cinco De Mayo, so it probably will not be today, lol. I am not able to get his whole suit off, but my dear friend accidentally opened his front jacket by tearing the threads, ha, so will try to get a good photo of his body composition. Thank you again! Look forward to your analysis of him.
