    I am looking for anyone who may be able to read one of the lines of writing on the hat. I'm thinking the first line reads "King Edward" but I am not sure.

      Better pictures are needed. A high resolution scan of the hat

      The uniform is more typical of a hotel worker (bell hop/ doorman) than a train employee. Also it looks to be photographed in front of a building.
