1932 Sketch Book

I was living in Montreal, Quebec a few years ago and was out shopping with a friend when I saw this sketchbook, opened to the "Cecile" sketch, in a shop cabinet. I loved it but didn't have any money at the time (It was only $25 dollars, but I was a poor student). A Few months later I went back to the area, not remembering which shop it was and wandered in and out of each store looking for it. I finally found and paid for it, thrilled it was still there. A little disappointed there was only three sketches in the little book, but I love them, and find "Cecile" strikingly beautiful. I wonder who owned the book, and who the artists and the models were.
