    Unsure if this is an antique bookcase, it belongs to my partner who was told it could be worth a bit of money, we don't know a lot about it except its a bookcase?

      It may be for someone's stereo component system. The holes for the interconnects, power cords, and speaker wires. The usual dimensions are 14x14x6 to 16x16x6 inches for the components to fit. Is that close in size, or is this smaller?
