    I recently bought this old (Chinese??) hand painted wooden bowl or plate
    It is hexagon shaped and made of a light wood
    I am not asking for an appraisal
    I am just seeking to find out any history on this piece
    All the owner of the antique store where I purchased the item was it was old

      this is very tough call, i am not skilled anough for this, it looks a sort of cumulus Canton inside border, IMO this is genuene, but who am i

      if it is a cumulus inside border in comparison to the diaper inside it even more difficult , because the spread is wide from mid qianlong to early guangxu

      the depicting the kid as a stand alone ( equivalent of a japanese karako)is a good sign , i believe in this but i am far from an expert in this

      to be on the safe side date it daoguang, its wood it is a collecters item , rareity is an addition value !!
