    Deice in a Box - over 70 years old I would presume. Western PA would be where it was from. From Grandfathere Estate, I am 55 now. The box is hinged in the middle and appears to be made of walnut. Serial # in the Lid - 5396 - . Looks like there can be some electrical hock ups to it. It appears to be a pump of sorts. It has a leather handle, so I get the sense it needed to be mobile. The belt on the pulley is made of leather and it has a metal fastener. there is a valve on a pipe that leads out of the pump. here is the link to more images: http://imgur.com/a/xnJMx

      My guess is that it may a device used for faceting gemstones. There may be traces of abrasive compounds in the box.
