This was built by Hall's Safe & Lock Co between 1867 - 1892. The number on the handle is 62657. There is a small safe inside with a silver medallion on the interior of small door with a stamped likeness of Joseph L Hall. The exterior measurements are 31.5 wide by 29.5 deep by 44 inches tall. We have the combinations to both locks. We have been told that railroad payroll was kept in the small inner safe. It weighs about one ton and we are told it has cement in the steel walls.

The cement is so that if anybody tries to cut thru it with a torch, it blows back after the outer layer is cut and also for weight.
