I have this lovely little dish with a pouring spout on each long side, given to me by an elderly neighbor who was going into a nursing home. It has an Art Deco look to it which is one thing I love about it! I could not find this design anywhere.
The bottom is unglazed and has a green marking, "Hand Painted" above the "M" and "Nippon" below it. Also, on the bottom near the mark is an impressed flower, some numbers and another design that I don't know what it is.
Measures approximately 7 3/8" long x 4 3/8" wide at the spouts. Does anyone know what it was used for and how I can tell if it is a genuine old Nippon piece?
