Hello!
My mom recently acquired this pair of binoculars. They were her dad's and he supposedly got them from someone else in his family.
They are solid brass (with wooden eye pieces and center focusing ring.) The black paint is still pretty shiny (where is isn't worn away or chipped). I don't see any plastic. Just brass, wood, a screw and the glass lenses.
There are no writings or engravings to help indicate where they might have been manufactured or when.
Maybe someone here might know by looking at them?
